Deleting Unnecessary Jobs from Memory

You can delete print jobs in memory.

Note

Encrypted authorized print jobs cannot be deleted with the Storage Manager plug-in.

To use the Storage Manager, you need to install Configuration Tool.

Installing Configuration Tool

  1. Click [Start], and then select [All Programs] > [Okidata] > [Configuration Tool] > [Configuration Tool].

  2. Select [Storage Manager] from the [Plug-in] menu.

  3. Select the device name in the device selection area at the bottom of the Storage Manager plug-in screen.

  4. Click (Display the job management screen).

  5. Enter the password to view a print job of a specific user, and then click [Apply job password].

    Memo

To view all print jobs, enter the administrator password, and then click [Apply administrator password]. The initial administrator password is "aaaaaa".

  6. Select the job you want to delete, and then click (Delete).

  7. Click [OK].

Memo

Even after authentication-printing or saving print data, the job still remains in the [COMMON] partition, and therefore leaving this undeleted can take up memory space.
