Procedure for Setting Up IEEE802.1X

Before setting IEEE802.1X to the printer, connect the printer to a computer via a standard hub for preparing the setup. After IEEE802.1X is set, connect the printer to the authentication switch.

  1. Connect the printer to a computer.

  2. Set the IP address that is used for setting up to a computer.

  3. Set the IP address that is used for setting up to the printer.

  4. Complete the setting of IEEE802.1X to the printer.

  5. Connect the printer to the authentication switch.
