Emphasizing Fine Lines

You can print fine lines and small characters clearer.

This function is enabled by default.

Note

  • This function is not available with the Windows XPS printer driver and Mac OS X PCL printer driver.

  • The PS printer driver is not available with B412.

  1. Select [Print] from the [File] menu.

  2. Click [Preferences].

  3. Click [Advanced] on the [Job Options] tab.

  4. Set [Adjust ultra fine lines] to [On].

  5. Change other settings if necessary, and then click [OK].

    The [Printing Preferences] screen closes.

  6. Click [Print] on the [Print] screen.

    Printing starts.

  1. Select [Print] from the [File] menu.

  2. Click [Preferences].

  3. Click [Advanced] on the [Job Options] tab.

  4. Select the [Adjust ultra fine lines] check box, and then click [OK].

  5. Change other settings if necessary, and then click [OK].

    The [Printing Preferences] screen closes.

  6. Click [Print] on the [Print] screen.

    Printing starts.

As an example, this section describes printing that uses TextEdit.

  1. Open a file to print on a computer.

  2. Select [Print] from the [File] menu.

  3. Select [Printer Features] from the panel menu.

  4. Select [Job Options] from [Feature Sets].

  5. Select the [Adjust ultra fine lines] check box.

  6. Change other settings if necessary, and then click [Print].

    Printing starts.
