Enabling Encryption Settings

After creating a certificate, perform the following procedure to enable encryption.

If you enable encryption, communication is encrypted immediately after the settings are changed from the Web page.

Open the Web page of the printer.

Log in as the administrator.

Select [Admin Setup].
Select [Network Setup] > [Security] > [SSL/TLS].
Select [Enable] for the protocol to which apply the encryption.
Click [Submit].
