If Paper Cannot be Fed from the Second Tray Unit (Optional)

To use the second tray unit (optional), you must set the second tray unit with a printer driver.

Note

  • The second tray unit is displayed as [Optional Tray].

  • You must log in as the administrator.

  • The PS printer driver is not available with B412.

  1. Click [Start], and then select [Devices and Printers].

  2. Right-click the [OKI B432] icon, and then select [B432(PCL)] from [Printer properties].

  3. Enter [2] for [Installed Paper Trays] on the [Device Options] tab, and then click [OK].

    Memo

    If a TCP/IP network connection is used, click [Get Printer Settings] to set the printer driver automatically.

  1. Click [Start], and then select [Devices and Printers].

  2. Right-click the [OKI B432] icon, and then select [B432(PS)] from [Printer properties].

  3. Select [2] for [Installed Paper Trays] in [Installable Options] on the [Device Settings] tab, and then click [OK].

    Memo

    If a TCP/IP network connection is used, select [Get installed options automatically] in [Installable Options], and then click [Setup] to set the printer driver automatically.

  1. Click [Start], and then select [Devices and Printers].

  2. Right-click the [OKI B432] icon, and then select [B432(XPS)] from [Printer properties].

  3. Select the [Optional Tray] check box under [Installed Options] on the [Device Options] tab, and then click [OK].

Memo

If a TCP/IP network connection is used, click [Get Printer Settings] to set the printer driver automatically.

For Mac OS X, if an option has been added before the printer driver is installed, the device information is automatically obtained. If an option is added after the printer driver is installed, set the option by following the procedure below.

  1. Select [System Preferences] from the Apple menu.

  2. Click [Print & Scan].

  3. Select [OKI B432], and then click [Options & Supplies].

  4. Select the [Driver] tab.

  5. Select [2 (1 Optional Tray)] for [Available Trays], and then click [OK].
