Checking the Status of the Printer and Error by E-mail

You can set the printer to send an error notification E-mail if an error occurs. You can set when to send such notifications.

  • On a regular basis

  • Only if an error occurs

You can set this setting on the Web page.

The description below uses the following environment as an example.

  • Printer: B432dn

  • IP address of the printer: 192.168.0.2

Note

To check the status of the printer and error by E-mail, you must register an E-mail address and server information in the printer.
